Cub Scouting is an active program that focuses on building character in a young boys life.
Boys learn by doing, and there’s no end to the fun things that Cub Scouts do in their dens, as a pack, and at special events. As a leader, you should be aware of the wide array of activities that can be included in the Cub Scout program, and do your best to include as many of them as possible in your annual schedule.
Here is a sample of the activities and events we have every year:
- Camp Outs
- Pinewood Derby
- Bike Rides
- Ice Skating
- Geocaching Hikes
- Rock Climbing
- Community Services
- Angelman’s Walk Service
- Halloween Party
- Mataguay Scout Camp
- Balboa Overnight Camps
- Summer Picnic
- Much More!
Since 1910, Scouting has been weaving lifetime values into fun and educational activities designed to help families teach their boys how to make good decisions throughout their lives and give them confidence as they become the adult leaders of tomorrow. Cub Scouting teaches boys to do their best and be helpful to others.
